Paint 3d

Paint 3D is the latest evolution of classic Paint, with a ton of new art tools to try on your 2D canvas or 3D objects.

Paint 3D is a modeling application that was introduced along with Windows 10 Creators Update. The program has the same functionality as Microsoft Paint but now offers support for 3D shapes. You will find 3D stock images such as people, animals, text, geometric shapes, and doodles in the app.

Explore the brushes and tools in Paint 3D from the Art tools menu. First, choose a color from the color palette, or use the eyedropper to pick up a color already in your workspace. If you want to add custom colors to your palette, select + Add color.

Once you have the perfect color, select a brush to use and paint right onto the canvas. Or, try dropping in some basic 3D objects or models (like the fish) from the 3D objects menu to start painting in 3D.

Tip: Most of the art tools, like the marker and pencil, allow you to adjust the thickness and opacity of your strokes. Try playing with these sliders to change how your sketch looks!

Paint 3D can be used to create impressive 3D objects, but it also lets you use and manipulate a vast amount of pre-made objects in the 3D library.

Lets trying making a pig with wings!

Paint 3d Windows 10

  1. When you click on the model, movement arrows will appear.

    • The top arrow will rotate the object along the Z-axis.

    • The right arrow will rotate along the X-axis.

    • The bottom arrow will rotate along the Y-axis.

    • The left arrow will slide your model forward and backwards in space.

    • Click and drag the model to move it around the canvas.

    • Click and drag the little white boxes on the corners and sides of the box surrounding the object to enlarge, shrink, or stretch the object however you want.

Play around with these until you get a good sense of moving and manipulating the model.

  2. Open the 3D library again, search for a wing, and when you find the one you want click it to add it to the canvas.

  3. The wing will appear on the canvas. Drag the models apart and resize them so that they will look how you want them to together.

  4. Move the models around until the wing is positioned correctly and looks like it's sticking out of the pig how you want it.

Clicking Select all will allow you to rotate both models at the same time so you can make sure they are correctly from all angles.

  5. Make the two models one by clicking Select all and then clicking Group from the right side menu.

  6. Now follow the steps again to add another wing the other side of the pig.
